They paint for passion and for volunteerism and giving . The colours and stories of their paintings tell stories and weave each member ’ s passion for community engagement through the sharing of their talents . Dimasalang Artists donate $ 125
Mayo Landicho , Ferdinand “ Chito ” Maravilla , and Rod Pedralba , each donated a painting worth $ 250 each for Band2gether4RCRG , a fundraising concert on 4 March 2017 by CanadianFilipinosforRCRG for the benefit of Richmond Cares Richmond Gives ( http :// www . rcrg . org /), a non-profit agency that serves as a hub for volunteering and giving . The artists helped raise funds for RCRG ’ s seniors program by assisting in organizing the musical fundraiser , staging an exhibit at the lobby of the concert venue , and donating paintings that were raffled during the event .

The Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Association of BC ( APOAABC ) raised $ 1500 from its members to support Band2gether4RCRG , a concert for the benefit of a Richmond charity . APOAABC used the funds to buy 100 tickets for the concert where Filipino volunteer singers from all over the lower mainland performed for free to raise funds for the seniors ’ program of Richmond Cares Richmond Gives ( RCRG ), a hub for volunteering and giving . RCRG connects Richmond residents with opportunities to give back to their community , while offering a range of services for children , youth , families , and seniors . It is a great partnership that engaged and entertained the community towards fundraising for a good cause .
