‘ Wildflower ’ reaches new ratings high in wake of Lily Cruz ’ s shock return
The hit revenge drama “ Wildflower ” saw its ratings rise to a new high in the wake of Maja Salvador ’ s shock return as Lily Cruz .
According to Kantar Media , more than 33.8 % of the country ’ s total TV audience tuned in to the latest installment , which saw Lily Cruz reveal her true identity to the family she abhors because of the horrors they did to her parents when she was little .
The figure was significantly higher than its rival show , “ Wowowin ,” which only garnered 18 %. Those numbers also made it the third-most watched program on Monday , behind only “ TV Patrol ” and “ Ang Probinsyano .”
The newest episode delivered an unexpected twist as Salvador , as Lily Cruz , who before was masking as the seductress Ivy Aguas , crashed a party of the Ardientes and threatened to kill them all .
She was wearing scene-stealing gold gown --a far cry from the black dress she famously wore at her wedding .
“ Black is out . Gold is in . And just like gold , I am indestructible !” she exclaimed .
