DepCon Mandap gave his thank you speech, jokingly likening the evening and the tributes to him as eulogies, and with a grateful heart thanked everyone for their support and their love. He told the crowd that his dedicated service to his countrymen was one that truly marked his six years in Vancouver, and that he is honoured to have served his kababayans on this assignment.
