The group began their
yearly event in 2006 with Lucy
Belinski, Acel De Guzman,
Sam Dait, Dorothy Ocampo,
Cesar
Tumaneng,
Elena
Kamping, Betty Dondonayos,
Jackie Diy and other friends,
new nannies, who wanted to
do something for the hard-

working caregivers in the
community. They started with
a potluck dinner which with
125 guests. They had asked
Filipino businesses to sponsor
their work and were met
with much enthusiasm and
support, and year after year,
their guest and sponsor list
grew, with generous donations

to the event.
This year, there were 300
people who attended the
dinner, with more families
attending from the year before.
There are also more sponsors
who support the event, with
Rey Fortaleza of Reyfort Media
Group joining their cause this
year.
