ATA Debunked
Fifteen years ago in the Atacama Desert in Chile a miniature mummified Skelton was found. The discovery of this pint sized mystery sparked many believers in Extraterrestrial Life, to claim that this was the Skelton of a tiny alien species. The Skelton is six inches tall with angular head and only 10 sets of ribs. This specimen has been called “ATA”. “ATA” has been featured on tv and scientific studies in speculating what has actually been found. Theories range from a small undiscovered ape species to, as previously mentioned, a real like body of an alien. When “ATA” was initially found in 2003, many believed they found an ancient mummy. A study of “ATA” it was found that “ATA was only forty years old; hence why DNA was able to be evaluated.
However, after five years of genomic analysis and study, authors apart of the research team with publish their findings in The Journal of Genome Research to put this mystery to bed. “ATA” is in fact human with multiple bone diseases and mutations. The small stature of “ATA” is due to the likely hood that it is a fetus and probably female. This came as a shock because initially it was believe that this little person was five to six years old. Through the many years of study it was found that one of the many bone diseases this fetus had was a rare bone aging disorder.
Although, this mystery is put to rest and is debunked, there is still more cases of possible UFO cases that have yet to have any solid conclusions.
