VISIT TO MURCIA
Murcia is the most important city in our region and this must-see visit is always a cru-
cial activity. We tried to organize it as a way to allow interaction. The visit did not con-
sist of a monologue of a guide, given that our guides were our students. Having previ-
ously been documented, the places they had to report on were distributed, as well as
telling anecdotes, legends and exchanging opinions to maintain their interest. Simplicity
and briefness were two fundamental criteria to take into account. We visited the most
representative and emblematic places of our town, such as the Cathedral, ‘Las Claras
Convent’, the ‘Royal Casino’, ‘Santo Domingo’s Square’ and two of its most relevant
and representative streets, namely ‘Platería’ and ‘Trapería’.
