Class of 2021
Miray Idwer ’ 21 received her Pharm . D . degree – and an unexpected proposal at this year ’ s Spring Commencement . Her fiancé Marwan Oro planned the surprise with “ a little help from her friends ,” classmate Mary Atty ’ 21 and Dr . Jennifer Campbell . Oro received his M . S . in Engineering Management from Oakland University ( Michigan ) one week earlier . They are busy planning a wedding for next summer while Idwer is preparing for her Michigan license and interning at Kroger Pharmacy .

Tung Nguyen ’ 17 is a pharmacy manager at Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles .
Stephanee Schrader ’ 17 received her board certification in critical care .
Kari Underwood ( Smith ) ’ 17 left retail pharmacy to take a position at Ascension St . Vincent Hospital in Kokomo , Ind . in 2019 .
Carmen Whitlock ’ 17 has been a pharmacist with Kroger in Fort Wayne , Ind . since November 2020 .

Stefanie Hulce ’ 16 was promoted June 2021 to pharmacy manager at CVS Pharmacy in Kokomo , Ind . In March 2020 , she welcomed new baby , Brantley Martin .
Making an Impact
Sara Shahdoost Moghadam ’ 19 Pharm . D . co-authored a peer-reviewed article , published in February 2021 in the AMA Journal of Ethics . In her article , “ How Should Physicians and Pharmacists Collaborate to Motivate Health Equity in Underserved Communities ?” she examines social determinants of health and health disparities and how pharmacists might improve them to help reduce costs and optimize health outcomes .

Molly Corder ’ 20 is completing her PGY2 in ambulatory care at St . Joseph Medical Center in Mishawaka , Ind . This year , she was named the AACP 2021 Walmart Scholar .
Amy J . Turner ’ 19 M . S . in PGx has coauthored research on “ Identification of CYP2D6 Haplotypes that Interfere with Commonly Used Assays for Copy Number Variation Characterization .” The article was published in the May 2021 edition of The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics .

Lisa Pineros Jacobs ’ 18 is a staff pharmacist for CVS Pharmacy in Waterford , Mich . Last August , she welcomed new baby , Emma Astrid .
