ZERO FAULT PRODUCTION
Fratelli Roda SA has become the fi rst Swiss company to install a Bobst Accucheck unit, which delivers complete in-line quality checks of folding cartons. The unit reinforces its position as a supplier constantly focused on quality. The system is further expected to attract new business from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Our customers are on a continuous quest for perfection. We chose the Accucheck unit because it can check 100 percent of our folding carton production and meet their“ zero-fault” requirements.’
Placed in line with a Bobst Expertfold or Masterfold folder-gluer, the unit checks each carton for print-to-cut registration precision, printing defects, oil or water marks, ink splashes, carton damage or scratches, bad cut quality or colour variation. If a blank does not meet the quality specifi cations input by the operator, it is ejected from the production stream.
