The world separated in pieces

Left with fire and weapons of destruction

The world set ablaze over a forgotten cause

The lives of animals on two and four

Are lost through this endless blaze

Never meant to end

Driven by bloodlust hatred and sorrow

They fight on and on

Burning an image into their world

Just their eyes are enough

To see their future

Can it be stopped or will it be stopped

The word “endless” foretells that it won’t

But not every word can dictate the future

But actions can say a lot

The world separated in pieces

Left with fire and weapons of destruction

The world is two faced

One sorrow

One hatred

The world can mend

Its open wounds

But the world’s wounds are open wide

And the actions cut deep

The wounds need hope

For mending can’t begin till

Old wounds heal

the world of fire
