The 2nd Annual PFHF Golf Outing was held on Saturday,
May 20, 2017 at Oakview Golf Club in Slippery Rock, Pa.

a day without rain. Golfers enjoyed breakfast prior to
their round, lunch at the turn, beverages on the course,
and dinner and awards to close out the day. Thank you
to all of the golfers and volunteers. We look forward to
seeing everyone again next year!

Folk dancing combines an educational experience, great
exercise and fun social environment. We move to Polish
folk music as we practice all of the fundamental elements
of Krakowiak, Mazur, Polonez and other Polish Dances.
DYNGUS DAY!
On April 17, the Polish Falcons Heritage Foundation hosted their
first annual Dyngus Day Celebration at PFA Nest 8 on the South
Side of Pittsburgh, Pa. The event featured polka music by The
Trel-Tones and special guest emcee, Jim Krenn, a well-known
comedian and radio personality. Guests enjoyed pierogi, kielbasa
and sauerkraut sandwiches, hot dogs and nut roll washed down
by Polish imported beer, Tyskie. Bingo was played, and Polish
folk art and crafts were sold. Plenty of polka dancing (plus squirt
guns!) rounded out the fun. Appearances were made by Pittsburgh
Pirates Pierogi, Jalapeño Hannah, and Kennywood Park mascot,
Kenny Kangaroo. Also stopping by was Pittsburgh Mayor, Bill
Peduto. Over 200 people attended the celebration.
