These are just a few of many interesting discoveries by Morell in her book .
From the small and primitive hymenopterans like ants to the more intelligent primates and cetaceans like chimpanzees and dolphins , there is a lot we don ’ t yet know about animal psychology . Contrary to the popular belief of only humans being intelligent enough to make conscious decisions , there exists substantial evidence of animals making sensible decisions and creating strategies to accomplish tasks . Several researchers like Morell herself have travelled around the world meeting with scientists who study the behaviors , capabilities and social lives of animals . Perhaps the book will be a dry read for some because of its scientific and complex nature . However , it will completely change the way we look at creatures we share this planet with .

Denver is still adored by internet users even after becoming a hit 2 years ago . If you have a dog , you will be familiar with their behaviour when they know they are in trouble or have done something that they shouldn ’ t have . A female dog named ‘ Denver ’ has become known as the “ guiltiest dog ” on the web . In this home video , Denver , who was then 6 years old , is deemed guilty of sneakily eating cat treats behind the owner ’ s back and we see her incredibly cute guilty behavior . Since its posting online in 2011 , the video has received over 5 million hits , and the phenomenon now includes a web site that features bandanas and t-shirts of Denver and her guiltiness . Denver has also appeared on TV shows and is soon going to have a storybook for children , Denver Crosses the Creek .
