In “Princess Diana” Cherry Gilchrist shows how easily marriages can be built
on illusions and the terrible cost that has to be paid when these illusions are
shattered. But it is an optimistic tale, for we learn how Diana‟s love and kindness
and her dedication to her children and charities helped to save her from disaster and
bring her even greater respect and fame in death that she ever had in life.
The eldest of Princess Diana‟s sons, Britain‟s Prince William is getting
married with his fiancée, Kate Middleton, on Friday, April 29 th . They have chosen
the Westminster Abbey for the location of their big day.
They first met in 2001 while they were studying at the University of St.
Andrews. Their engagement, on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November
2010. After the wedding, the couple intends to continue residing on the Isle of
Anglesey in Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and
Rescue pilot.
We wish Prince William a very happy marriage! At least a happier one than
his mother‟s.
