Direct Animal Action invite you to 'Animals - Seeing the Sentient Being' ~ an art event raising funds for Paws Awhile animal sanctuary in Raglan. Our exhibition and live auction features over 30 established and emerging New Zealand artists who've all embraced our theme of animals as sentient beings.

EVENT DETAILS
The exhibition runs from 28th November to 1st December, 9am-3pm each day. The closing night and live auction is Thursday 1st December, 5:30-8:00pm. A silent auction will run from 28th November - 1st December. The live auction will be catered with wine and nibbles and accompanied with live entertainment. There is a $10 cover-charge for entry to the live auction.
THE SANCTUAY
Paws Awhile Animal Sanctuary aims to provide safe haven for animals rescued from abuse and neglect. Paws Awhile has many permanent and foster residents including dogs, cats, donkeys, miniature ponies, highland cattle, kunekune pigs and chickens. Paws Awhile are an independant and self-funded animal sanctuary working alongside other animal welfare agencies to better the lives of animals in New Zealand.
