I
't has been a busy time for us here at
Pet Life over the past month as we start gearing up for our December release. For those who are new to Pet Life, welcome to your first SnipPET. Our SnipPET's are monthly electonic publications produced to complement our quarterly print magazine.
Pet Life is committed to helping as many rescue/welfare groups as much as possible. As a result of this aim we have incorporated a new section into our SnipPET. We hope that the FUREVER HOMES WANTED section becomes a regular feature to help showcase those pets having a bit of a rough time finding their new families. Check our pages 4-7 to see four beautiful pups looking for their new loving homes.
At the end of this month the National Dog Show will be held in Christchurch as part of Discover Dogs. "Over the 3 day event, an estimated 1700 purebred dogs representing over 100 different breeds from across New Zealand and Australia will be embarking on their campaign to take out the coveted Best In Show title at this prestigious event. In addition New Zealand’s finest trained dogs will be competing for the esteemed Test C Obedience title." Pet First Aid and Training will be down for this event and are holding two courses. All details can be found on page 12.
Behind the scenes we have been working hard on increasing our distribution outlets. We are now looking for pet friendly food outlets to stock our magazine. So if you know of any suitable cafes then we want to hear from you!
Our mission is to create an informative publication for our readers and as such have been slowly sorting suitable collaborators. We are very happy to report this is almost complete and are excited about working with the following teams:
Inger Vos from Fox Editing has come on board as our Pet Life Magazine Editor.
Pet Doctors will be providing informative vet articles and relevant vet news for all companion and exotic pets.
Pet First Aid and Training are contributing to our pet first aid knowledge and also child & pet safety.
Idette Photography will be supplying pet photos; alongside sharing tips and hints on taking the perfect pet snap.
If you would like to know more anout our collaborators then head to our website.
Until next month enjoy and don't forget to celebrate your pet.
