Jackie Kiddle is a current member of the New Zealand U23 rowing team, who will be competing at the U23 World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam this coming August. Jackie will be defending her world title in the Lightweight Women's Double sculls. Living in Cambridge she spends the majority of her time training on lake Karapiro. Last year Jackie welcomed her first ever puppy, Molly a Dalmatian, into her home and is now currently studying Animal Behaviour at the University of Waikato.

Jackie has always had “a bit of an artistic flair” and started drawing as a way to pass the time between trainings and a way to keep her mind fresh when having down time from rowing. Jackie is currently fundraising for her trip to Rotterdam so it comes as no surprise that she has combined her passion for drawing with her love of animals.

Jackie is able to create an original customised drawing of your beloved pet, and also has a range of prints for sale. “I love drawing pets because when someone wants you to draw their pet they always send in the photos they love that have so much character and are a little bit quirky. I love the challenge of trying to portray each pet's specific personality in each drawing I do.”
