APPLICATION
This is a very interesting phenomenon and is something that throughout my whole life I have done subconsciously. I found it quite a
difficult concept to grasp yet the research and quotes by the researchers as mentioned above are fascinating. As the research suggests,
it is important to consider that latent inhibition is a balance between manipulating attentions to stimulus around you based on what you
want to achieve. For example, if you are in a conversation with someone you want to have high levels of latent inhibition. However, in a
creative situation having done this research I am interested to see if I now pay more attention to my surrounding based on the positive
outcomes it has for creativity. I suppose this simple solution will enhance ideas by analysing the world around me because often the best
solutions are right before our very eyes.
