help my parents and give them something in return.

During my sophomore days in DLSU-M, me and my friends decided to open a business of selling shirts that can be used for UAAP university support. So we made the "I love La Salle more than Ateneo" shirt and it became a hit. After a year have passed, some of us decided to go our own way and continue the business but there was a conflict within the group because everyone contributed to the shirt design so in order to use the design to our individual businesses we have to persuade everyone in the group that it is safe to use for our personal interests and it would not intefere with the profit of the other.

After some time, me and my friends have forgotten our personal interests and focused on our studies.

Last year, July 2012, I haven't forgotten my promise to myself and my personal interest so I decided to make my own business. Day after day I thought of business plans and ideas to fulfill my promise. After a month I asked help from my girlfriend to go around the metro to look for materials that will be used for my online shirt business. Around October, Drawer Monkey was born but not officially launched. Four (4) months after that I offically launched Drawer Monkey and to my surprise everyone loved it but it was a bit pricey for a starter.

Together with my first business, Legion Minds, I was able to support myself financially but unfortunately, I have to stop the operation of both because my studies come first and I want my parents to see me march on that platform.

"A dream without action is worth nothing."

I wouldn't be the person I am right now if it wasn't for that failure I experienced in DLSU-M. I guess most of us need a wake up call to change ourselves to become a better person. I wouldn't have done this without the help of my ever loving parents ,who supported me all the way, my friends and girlfriend, who have helped me in gathering all the materials I needed.

I learned that patience really goes a long way. Being patient takes a lot of effort when we want to be successful and especially when we want to hit the fast forward button just because we want to escape a particular moment, be it sad, embarassing, etc.. Lastly, I learned to thank God not just for the good times but also for the bad times he has given us to be molded to a better person.

end of report Assessment

All of my groupmates have worked hard and have taken the initiative to take the task at hand.

I really liked this last part of the project because we get to share a part of our life and I think that educational institutions should teach their students to speak and share their experiences.
