A PERRYWINKLE ’ S LOVE STORY

BRIAN & ANDREA

IIt was a cold snowy day in March 2016 as Andrea boarded an old school bus bound for her company ski trip to Vermont . She had been away for a few weeks and was excited to see her friends and coworkers , and to spend the bus ride catching up .

It was Brian ’ s second week of work at his new sales job , and he was excited to meet new people .
When Andrea got on the bus and spent the 3-hour ride sitting with a guy Brian knew was married , he assumed she was his wife . Spoiler alert — she wasn ’ t .
Throughout the day of skiing , Brian and Andrea got to chatting over snowmobiling and beers ( in that order ) and spent the bus ride home sitting together and chatting .
Over the next few months , their friendship continued to grow , evolving into after-work events and combining their friend groups .
It wasn ’ t until a few months in , after a company softball game , that they had their first date . Andrea was getting ready to leave when Brian said , “ Hey , do you want to grab dinner at Tasty Burger ?” And that was where it all began .
A year later , Brian moved to Andrea ’ s neighborhood in South Boston . And the year after that , they moved in together !
Prior to the pandemic , one of their favorite things to do as a couple was traveling . An annual destination for them was — and continues to be — Jupiter , Florida .
Andrea ’ s parents live there , for one , and Brian , as a DC native , loves to watch the Washington Nationals ’ spring training in West Palm Beach .
When all their travel plans came to a halt in 2020 , Andrea needed something new to plan . Being cooped up in their Southie apartment quickly turned into house hunting in the suburbs . Three months later , they bought
