JP: Where do you see yourself in 20 years? Do you have specific goals and visions for your future?
X: In 20 years, I’ll be 35? OLD…. I’m digging 15 right now, you know, and looking that far ahead into the future… the only thing I know for sure is that I don’t want to be doing this. Not because I am not going to be fighting for this issue as long as it is going to take, but I want to be able to do as much as I can, and play my part well enough over these next 5-10 years, so that in 5-10 years I won’t have to be doing this, right?
So my role will have been fulfilled and I will have made my mark on the earth and done everything I possibly could. I hope that we are making enough progress in 5-10 years, that I can faithfully be like- alright, you got this. Because what I want to do is while I am creating this work I want to create more and more leaders. I want every kid to be like me. Well, not like me, but I want more and more young people to find their voice, find their passion, find their way to aiding the world.
