Your ‘Internal Ladder’ pieces are stunning. Your work shows your inner evolution, your ‘internal ladder’. Is it the reason why you named your series of ceramic sculptures as such?

I have made two “Internal Ladder” pieces which are part of my current series called “Inner Spaces”. I realized that instead of my work visually coming out of walls it could actually occupy the space inside of the walls to create an effect of growth within. Angelo Moore of the band Fishbone was the one who walked into my studio and said “So you make INNER SPACE ART”. The first piece of the series was called” Innermost” so it made sense and I was excited he really got it!
