HOMEOPATHY
I am traveling to Florida to teach a Homeopathic course for physicians.
Have I packed my Homeopathic travel medicines?
Summer is on its way and for those of us who are traveling far or near, flying or going on a cruise, health precautions are recommended. Keep a copy of your passport and your credit cards somewhere safe and take a picture of them and keep them in your smart phone. Take along some medication for pain and trauma, infections, anxiety, a sleep aide, and your recommended medications; enough for the duration of the trip. In the week leading up to the trip drink plenty of water, eat healthy meals and plenty of vegetables. Be sure to get enough rest and exercise to help combat jet lag. Take multi-vitamins and Immune Booster supplements like vitamins B, C, and D, Black Elderberry, Beta Glucan, Shiitake and Maitake mushrooms.
One of my patients asked me if there is any Homeopathic medicine to take instead of the anti-anxiety medication prescribed for the anxiety of the plane ride. Gelsemium Sempervirens is the Homeopathic medication that helps with apprehension anxiety. It is a very effective medication that can be used for anxiety related to tests, interviews, speeches, meetings and other anxieties of events of the near future. It should be taken the night before, the morning of and as one is entering the plane then repeated every hour as needed. Gelsemium has helped one of my patients stop taking anti-anxiety medication before her presentations. She wanted to switch to a more natural approach to her problem because she wanted to get pregnant. She explained later that with Gelsemium she had the added benefit of not feeling drugged or sleepy during her presentation and her thoughts were clearer.
