It was on this Full Moon that under the Tree of Life, the Bodhi Tree, Siddhartha the man transformed into Buddha - Light. Mythologically speaking, it makes the Full Moon on May 14th a time where you can get a sneak preview of yourself enlightened, you as a Buddha in a future lifetime, you on your last episode as a human...

From one tree to another...

The first time I realized I was interested in spirituality and mysticism was right when I discovered my fascination with trees. Being born the year of the monkey, I found trees to be my natural habitat. It even lead me to be a gymnast, so I can climb these pillars of the earth faster and higher. While Jesus insisted on making fishermen fisher of men, I think gardening, farming or just spending time

with trees can teach you all you need about the cosmos. And so from the Buddha's Bodhi tree let's climb the Kabbalist Tree of Life. Since my next retreat in Esalen on August 15-17 weekend will be about Kabbalah, I wanted to write a few words on this ancient body of wisdom and hopefully intrigue you enough to read and explore more on the subject. In the retreat we will focus on the Tree of Life and how to use the ten spheres to transform our lives.
