Self-Dialogue is Key
Our language and words carry the frequency of our intentions. They are powerful epigenetic influences on our DNA, premised on the understanding that the fabric of the universe is vibration. The dialogue that goes on in our head can be sabotaging to your plan of accomplishing your objectives or goals. I am certain that you would be surprised if you could hear a recording of your inner dialogue and become aware of just how many times a day you judge or criticize yourself un-forgivingly.
The undermining language and words that the ego-mind keeps feeding your subconscious, carries a vibrational frequency that translates into illness, depression or obesity. The Dali Lama in his book, The Art of Happiness stated: “The only way to change something in your life is first to know what it is that you want to change.” It is in your highest interest to become consciously aware of how the mind deprives you of the experience of Joy. Learn to sculpt your thoughts, words or language so they come from a place of Lovingness and are supportive to your utmost values.
When we try to discipline ourselves to follow a specific diet or exercise program, we usually wind up leaving or discontinuing the program based on a logical reason. The mind likes reasons because it controls through reason. It usually comes up with some very good arguments to end the struggle we seem to have with discipline. In the end, the ego perceives the situation as a failure. Discipline is an energy draining mechanism that the mind uses to try to accomplish a result that is motivated out of something other than a Loving act.
The “Love” Motivator
Exercise or diets can be easy, enjoyable and health supporting; simply by shifting your perception of how you observe yourself in the relationship to the experience.
Telling yourself repeatedly that it is a “Good Thing” or reciting affirmations is other than going to give you positive results. Intellectualizing or conceptualizing is a mind function and your motivation comes from “reason,” which is usually backed by a need or fear that holds low-density vibrations that compromises Harmony within your body. However, the most powerful motivational source, one that carries a high vibrational frequency, is the one of Devotion. It stems from the Heart, other than the mind. It is your Divine connection.
By simply turning your focus inward to your Heart Centeredness, you are able to feel and embody your Divine connection. The embracement of this experience of “Oneness” allows you to access and implement the most powerful motivational tool: Love. From this platform all goals become easy and effortless.
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”
-- Siddhartha Guatama Buddha
