Two Humpback whales were found dead and one Humpback was freed from the net. One dead Great White shark was found and hundreds of fish, rays and sharks and dozens of turtles were rescued.
In addition to Captain Layolle, Captain Bastien Boudoire and Captain Woody Henderson participated.
After the campaign both vessels went north, the Martin Sheen to drydock in San Diego and the Farley Mowat to drydock in Ensenada.
The Farley Mowat will return to the Gulf of California in July to follow the Totoaba migrations hunt for more nets and longlines and to report poachers.
In November the Farley Mowat will move North to stand guard in the Vaquita Refuge for the start of Operation Milagro III. Sea Shepherd is also working to send the Jules Verne to assist its sister ship the Farley Mowat come November.
