POWER-FULL

WOMEN

From the first women’s anti-poaching unit in South Africa called Black Mambas, to Philippa Ross and her voyage of discovery in Antarctica, to Jane Goodall’s life and legacy, that’s quite a nice trio of power-full women! Wouldn’t you say?

This issue features Ms. Goodall’s story of utter devotion for the protection of wild life and for education. Throughout her encounters with wildlife animals, Jane Goodall became the voice for rhinos, chimpanzees, elephants and continues her efforts through her foundation and books. She shares her life’s work, her reach, her hopes, her legacy and the most urgent needs. Many thanks to Elaine Robbins, Journalist, for writing such a brilliant article.

In conjunction with our powerful women, we are delighted to share the exquisite black and white photography of Laurent Baheux. Laurent’s ‘Wild Africa’ images, as well as his ‘Wild Africa’ book, are a feast for the eyes. He also has participated in many charity events for Jane Goodall’s Foundation in 2015 and 2009.

We are excited to announce a new partnership and to launch a new section called ‘Global Daily – Your world. Your Issues. Your news. where we share important and relevant stories, campaigns and world news. Global Daily serves to bring global citizens the best journalism and most compelling stories aggregated from media outlets and partners from around the world.
