FROM CLEAN WATER

TO SAVED LIVES

Our body is composed of 70% of water, so naturally, we, along with other living creatures, need water in order to survive and preserve natural balance for our body’s well-being. Being one of the essential necessities, clean water is more important than people having everyday water amenities could ever imagine. When you are enjoying your home comforts, while using hot or cold clean water, let’s remember that not all of us are that fortunate. Clean water is very important, not only for determining our body’s balance and conducting natural detoxification, but also for preserving health.

Contaminated water used for drinking or preparing meals, can jeopardize your health in so many ways, and in some cases even cause death. Every year, thousands of people, mainly children, die due to lack of clean water supplies in areas around the world.

More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world.

ONE BYE ONE,

WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

Too often do people think that their small contribution is not going to make any difference. But the White Feather Foundation encourages everyone to help those who are in need, those who have nothing and are forgotten. Every contribution matters, and every donation counts, so by giving what you can, you will help thousands of people get their clean water supplies, remain healthy and lower the death rate in affected areas. Water is not only important for everyday consumption, but also for being the vital source of growing and flourishing, as it is used for cattle and growing agriculture. When one area is affected by short water supplies, soon every other aspect of their personal and community life begins to collapse. Water shortage is present in many countries and has raised the mortality rate notably. The White Feather Foundation is spreading its influence in Kenya, Haiti, Malawi, Liberia, Pakistan, Chad, Somaliland, Afghanistan, and other countries, trying to help as many people as it can.
