Julian Lennon
Julian Lennon is deeply devoted to raising awareness about what people in other countries have to go through every day, not being able to lead normal lives due to lack of food, clean water and other basic essentials. In 2007, Julian decided to start his own foundation grounded on the white feather symbol.
It isn’t enough to care and to be educated about the present issues. People are suffering and we all have to get involved in order to make a difference and implement changes into the lives of the less fortunate.
The White Feather Foundation (WFF), with
the help of Julian Lennon, has created a
‘Clean Water Campaign’
(see whitefeatherfoundation.com/conserve-life/) and is helping to provide life essentials such as: clean water, sanitary conditions, food and medicines, followed by environmental actions in areas affected by pollution. Since its conception, The White Feather Foundation has conducted hundreds of projects in Kenya, Peru, Amazon Basin, Gambia, Sri Lanka and environmental projects in England. Julian’s efforts have been recognized and his work became widely appreciated and awarded by British Law and Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Even though a lot has been done in affected areas, unfortunately, that is not enough. We all need to be aware of environmental issues and the problems of less fortunate people, and help where we can

WHITE FEATHER FOUNDATION WORKS
The main cause that the White Feather Foundation is fighting for is to provide affected areas with enough water and try to solve their problems with sanitation, develop agriculture and improve education.
For 1.2 billion people, leading normal lives becomes almost impossible because of a great lack of clean, drinkable water, which causes thousands of deaths each year. The White Feather Foundation is also working on raising awareness of this existing life and death matter, by organizing charity concerts, balls and events which are intended to help collect as many donations as possible.
The Foundation’s main goal is to try and cure this problem at its root and prevent the increasing mortality rate and decrease the number of people who are in need of clean water. The White Feather Foundation is also collaborating with other exceptional charity movements, in order to raise awareness and collect as much funding as possible, to help all affected countries.
The Problem can’t be solved just in one day, month, or year for that matter, but with forces aligned and a little help from every individual, the issue will certainly be lessened.
