What does the HORSE represent?
The horse is freedom. An interesting synchronicity is that 2014 in numerology is 7 (2+0+1+4=7). In the bibles, 7 represents completion and perfection. The beautiful wife of David that provided the bloodline for the messiah, the perfect being, was called Bath-Sheba - Daughter of Seven. According to the laws of Moses: "In the seventh year the slave was to be freed" (Ex 21:2). Here we have another wonderful convergence of myths, Chinese and Judeo. Horse = freedom = the liberation promised after the 7th year. Free your soul and the horse will follow!
What are the qualities of the year of the horse?
When I lived in a Kibbutz in Israel, I worked as a cowboy. For real. The man who taught me to ride horses was an American who immigrated to Israel. He told me that riding horses is simple. They feel your vibe. If you are afraid they will be timid, nervous, anxious and will eventually buck you off their back. Even if you are terrified, you must approach the horse with confidence, projecting Yang attitude. This year follow my Marlboro-Man advice: as you saddle your New Year of the Horse, do it with assertion, no fear, first you fake it then you make it.
This is a year of projects that demand endurance and communication. It is a Yang year, meaning, masculine. This year needs action and movement to fuel success. It is a year of conquest (but avoid wars during Mars retro between March 1-May 19). Economy is suppose to improve and gallop forward.

Conclusion:
Like a horse rider, before you mount to ride this year, make sure you know your final destination. Once you do, allow the spontaneity and synchronistic nature of the horse to lead you on the right path towards reaching your goal.
The horse has inspired many myths: Pegasus that came out of Medusa's head and ended up a constellation: leading the way from evil to enlightenment. Buraq, the white stallion that flew Muhammad from Mecca to Jerusalem on his pilgrimage to meet God.
This year can be just as magical, profound and spiritual for you. Make the best of this year of the Wild Horse.
Peace
