Rock Against Trafficking Sting-Cover Contest
Sing a cover of any Sting or Police song ~ Make a video and submit ~ The Winner’s song will be on Rock Against Trafficking’s “Set Them Free”
album with rock legends covering the music of Sting to combat human trafficking and slavery
Please read all rules carefully as any failure to follow all rules may lead to disqualification.
1. All contestants must be at least 16 years old, and record and video a “cover” of any Sting (or Police) song.
2. All contestants must register on the rockagainsttrafficking.org website. Any contestant not providing, and updating as necessary,
correct contact information and a valid e-mail address may be disqualified at the sole discretion of RAT and the judges
3. Contestants may either be individuals or bands
4. All entries must be submitted via a YouTube link in order to qualify for consideration. If/when a YouTube link submission qualifies,
members will be able to view and vote on qualifying videos.
5. A maximum of 3 entries per contestant will be accepted, and each submission must have its own video.
6. Submissions must be in English.
7. RAT and the contest judges have complete discretion over inappropriate video material, and any submission may not me accepted,
or can be disqualified for any reason of RAT or the contest judges
8. All contestants must agree to the terms & conditions in order to qualify
9. Contestants may vote for other contestant’s songs, but not their own. Multiple votes for submissions by same IP address will not be
accepted and will not be counted as valid votes. Further, since the final decision will be made by RAT and the judges, the number of
public votes will not determine results.
10. All submissions must be received by April 30, 2014. No exceptions.
