Sodashi, on the other hand, uses
ayurvedic principles, acquiring their
ingredients from India and using them in
their natural form for an ayurvedic healing
of the body. Sodashi has created a special
Oud oil just for the hotel in Bahrain, and
when guests are indulging in a Sodashi
treatment, they can add that oil in.
Steve explains that is what makes these
experiences at The Spa so remarkable, not
only are these treatment designed for the
specific clientele of the Four Seasons Hotel
Bahrain Bay, but they tend to exceed the
expectations of the guests. The team at The
Spa also guides the guests through their
choices and treatments to ensure they are
receiving the best option for their needs.
In addition to the holistic element of
The Spa, there are also clinical treatments
that are available such as, the Ice Clinical,
which is a resurfacing facial and is very
popular with the guests. There is also the
signature Fire and Ice facial, used by many
in Hollywood as well, and is a simple and
natural treatment method using heat and
cool masks to rejuvenate the skin. The
peeling masks are used one after the other
and take about three days to completely
heal the skin, revealing a beautiful
natural glow. The Spa also offers MCCM,
a skin-lifting treatment from Portugal,
that revives the skin making it healthier.
“We understand that you need to have
a balance because not everyone wants a
holistic approach. Some people want an
instant kind of results from treatments such
as a facial, and I see that as a progression.
It needs to be body, mind, and soul, and
we will be introducing wellness aspects”,
Steve adds. The Spa will also offer a
Moroccan treatment, Maroc Maroc, which
will be based on the traditional Moroccan
Hammam experience, ceremonial massage
inclusive of heat packs, exfoliation using
natural ingredients.
