Community Partnerships
We believe...
...that students and family, staff and community share a re-
sponsibility for learning.
...in collaboration and communication among students, staff,
family, and the community.
The third shared value from the district’s comprehensive plan focuses on the importance
of forming relationships that extend beyond the walls of school and into the communi-
ty. To that end, the district has been partnering with a variety of entities, including the
Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, state lawmakers, and local professionals and
non-profit organizations to strengthen relationships that will ultimately benefit students.
Please read on for some examples of our work in the greater community.
During the annual
Day of Service held
on Martin Luther

Perkiomen Valley School District was named
“Large Business of the Year” in the Perkiomen
Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Stars Gala
held in February 2019. The honor is given to
organizations making significant contributions
to the business community. The district also
hosted a Morning Mixer with the Chamber in
January 2020 as a way to facilitate relation-
ships between the district and area businesses.
As part of the or-
ganization of the
district’s first Fam-
ily STEM Night in
2019, local organi-
zations and busi-
nesses were tapped
to attend the event
and offer some
unique experiences
for students.
