Grantors and Donors Offer
Support for Schools
The Perkiomen Valley School District is grateful for the support of the
following organizations and individuals:
• Schwenksville Home & School Association: $4,000 for tables for an
outdoor classroom.
• Mr. Shearba: $5,000 for an outdoor classroom amphitheater circle
• 3M: $2,500 grant to purchase supplies for the Science Olympiad
competition.
• Terra Landscaping and Perkiomen Valley Baseball Association:
$3,000 for sod for baseball infield.
• Perkiomen Valley Middle School West Green Team: $3,221 to pur-
chase utensils and trays for the cafeteria and $1,727 for a pergola to
go in the school courtyard.
• Middle School West Home & School Association: $1,386 for books
and audiobooks for character education.
• Skippack Home and School Association: $1,400 for a fence to be
placed around the Learning Garden.
• Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation: $29,500 to maintain
and extend the wellness program.
• PV Golf Booster Club: $3,500 for golf shirts and hats.
• PVSD Foundation: $34,607 for grants to teachers/staff members
for the Hall of Fame event, digital art tools, a garden kit for life skills
classes, furniture and other equipment for the Perkiomen Valley Mid-
dle School West library renovation, and virtual reality technology at
Evergreen Elementary School, plus $32,000 through EITC funds from
Univest for STEM education.
• CRES (Educational and Behavioral Health Provider and Foundation):
$7,500 for equine therapy for students with disabilities.
• PV Alumni Nick Steinman and Peter Dingley: Both artists donated
their artwork for permanent display at Perkiomen Valley High School.
