Rum’ ba Bike: Fun and Party on the Road!
Visiting Casco Antiguo, spending a pleasant time in its bars, tasting delicious dishes in its restaurants is now possible thanks to a new concept that is here to stay.
Rum’ ba Bike, an electric beer bike with capacity for 14 or 15 passengers, that can be moved using only the engine or manually with the pedaling of people on board, assisted by the engine, and in which its occupants can learn the wonderful history and the magic of this busy area of the capital city frequently visited by locals and tourists.

The seats of the Rum’ ba Bike are made of iron, wood, and steel. They measure almost two meters high and approximately one and a half meters wide inside. The seats also have seat belts, as well as special places for people who cannot or wish to pedal due to a medical condition.
Before leaving, the public travelling on the Rum’ ba Bike will be notified on the behavior they must keep on board, as well as the safety rules to be adopted, such as not smoking, not throwing rubbish in the street or expressing themselves with obscene words during the journey.
The name Rum’ ba Bike is due to the fact that“ we wanted to mix Spanish and English so that both nationals and foreigners could understand it”, Emma Cornejo says.
Several countries in the world have adopted this type of eco-friendly activities. Since Panama didn’ t have these alternatives for entertainment, Ralph and Emma decided to bring it to the country and innovate.
