Rabbi Jeff Hoffman was ordained and received his D. H. L. in Liturgy from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He teaches liturgy and Rabbinic Literature at The Academy for Jewish Religion. His most recent publication is Weaving Prayer: An Analytical and Spiritual Commentary on the Jewish Prayerbook.
Cantor Sandy Horowitz was ordained at AJR in 2014. She has worked as cantor and kol bo, religious school educator and teacher of both children and adults, and is now Cantor Emerita of Beth Am the Peoples Temple in Washington Heights, New York.
Rabbi / Cantor Idan Irelander is the founding rabbi of Congregation Ahavat Olam in North Andover, MA. He received his Rabbinic Ordination from the Academy for Jewish Religion, a Cantorial Ordination and Master’ s of Jewish Education( MJEd) from Hebrew College, and a Bachelor’ s of Composition and Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music.
Rabbi Anat Katzir, an Israeli- American Rabbi ordained by AJR in 2022, is currently serving as Rabbi Educator at Kol Dorot, A Reform Jewish Community in Oradell, NJ.
Rabbi Avi Killip is a poet and Executive Vice President at Hadar, where she teaches as part of Hadar ' s Faculty and is host of Hadar ' s podcasts, Responsa Radio and Ta Shma.
Cantor Lois Kittner( www. CantorLois. com / www. TorahLady. com) is a former New York City cabaret performer. She received her cantorial ordination at the Academy for Jewish Religion( 2016). In 2021 Lois became independent clergy, serving various congregations, individuals, families, and institutions, through her company, Torah Lady, LLC. Cantor Lois serves on the boards of the Women Cantors’ Network, and the Association of Rabbis and Cantors.
Rabbi Margaret Frisch Klein is an AJR alumna and the rabbi of Congregation Kneseth Israel in Elgin, IL. She serves on several non-profit boards including the Association of Rabbis and Cantors,( ARC) and St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin and as a police chaplain. She is the author of three books, the most recent is Trip Notes: Love for the Journey and blogs as the Energizer Rabbi.
Joy Krinsky began writing in 2019 with an obituary and eulogy for her spouse. She is currently writing a memoir, Every Little Thing. Her essays have appeared online in Herstry and Epistemic Literary. Joy lives in Portland, Maine.
