Built in 1928, the luxurious Four Seasons George V hotel in the 8th arrondissement has 244 beautifully appointed rooms just off the bustling shopping boulevard of Champs-Élysées. Bright and sophisticated, the hotel has large rooms and suites styled after Louis XVI and offers free Wi-Fi, TVs with satellite channels and CD / DVD libraries, as well as easy to use espresso machines. Room service is fantastic but remember you are in Paris, so get out and explore!
The property has a renowned restaurant serving breakfast and classic French cuisine, an ornate afternoon tea lounge with original art, a chic bar and a business center. On the bottom level of the hotel there is a fitness centre, wellness spa with fitness classes, an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. On my last visit to the Spa, I swear I was talking with my favourite couture designer – Elie Saab, whom has a boutique connected to the hotel.
According to TripAdvisor™, goi ng to see Jeff Leatham’ s floral installations at the Four Seasons George V is one of the top ten things to do in Paris.

Left: the elegantly decorated bedroom that served as our accommodation for two days while we produced the Jeff Leatham editorial. In hues of gold, this room had us feeling relaxed and very much at home while deep in the heart of the City of Light.
Bottom left: A quick shot from the roof of the hotel, while we were finishing the photo session with Jeff Leatham, shows a view to the courtyard, one of the towers leading to the street. It’ s quiet here even though it is only steps away from all the action.
