Our desire to create the best possible content for our readers took us to Barcelona, Spain, to interview our favourite designer of all time- Manuel Mota, the Creative Director and Designer for Pronovias. His service to the largest wedding gown supplier in the world lasted for over 23 years. It was during his time with the company that Pronovias experienced their global growth and recognition.
An odd story about our journey to meet him... a taxi hailed at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona hotel that would take us to the Pronovias factory couldn’ t wait for us as we checked out of the hotel. We then flagged a taxi on the street. The driver, when he asked where we were going, chuckled when he exclaimed that his wife is the Head Seamstress for Pronovias! Really? What are the chances!
