The Tiffany & Co. Blue Book collection highlights the evolution of a 179-year legacy of glamour and style. This year, Tiffany explores nature: The Art of Transformation.
The jewellery is the vision of design director Francesca Amfitheatrof, who utilizes the finest diamonds and colourful gemstones to capture the brilliant world that unfolds in nature and in one breathtaking moment, bursts into an extraordinary beauty.“ In this collection, we are taking you on a journey through nature. From the deep ocean, we float to the edge of the water where stillness reigns. In this world, cocooned in calm, transformation occurs. Life changes, and nature reaches to the surface and takes its first breath of air. It’ s a story about evolution and all that is possible in silence and peace, where nature plays its magic and creates the mysteries of the world we live in.”
Gemstones are mounted in lavish cocktail rings with diamonds and platinum. Like the forces of nature they are, a 6.70- carat emerald, 28.08-carat pink spinel, 20.43-carat sapphire and 19.99-carat green tourmaline unleash rich, saturated colour. These mesmerizing hues are intensified by exquisite cuts and settings that lead the eye deep into the stones.
This consummate collection is in harmony both with nature and Tiffany’ s unparalleled design heritage.
Dior Granville is inspired by the endless hour spent playing in a colordrenched garden when C h r i s t i a n Dior was a child at his f a m i l y house in Granville on the Normandy coast. Twelve unique pieces capturing the spirit of childish and creative games,“ As if stickers were put together spontaneously, without any preconceived constraints” Vistorie de Castellane, director of Dior Joaillerie explains. These children’ s fames are precious, and the memory evoked by the designer saw this playfulness transformed into colored stones. Green Beryl, Peridot, Aquamarine, Tanzanite, Chrysoberyl, Pink Tourmaline, and Rubellite“ Come to life” –“ Colour plays a starring role. The way in which they are assembled creates a sense of equilibrium meaning that no one colour dominates another. So that each one has an equal chance to shine”. The designer created a color cadence in which the deep shades harmonize with watery tones in different cuts, sizes and mounts. These plays of rhythm and construction appear to render the jewels mobile, and it look all the ingenious savoir-faire of the best haute joaillerie atelier in Paris to reproduce this movement through the lexicon of gems and precious metals.
Chanel Signature is the first High Jewellery collection dedicated to the quilted pattern, a classic element of design by Chanel.
Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’ s taste in expensive equestrians and particularly by the jackets worn by the lads on the racetrack, the quilted pattern is essential to the creative universe of Mademoiselle Chanel. Graphical and sleek, the jewellery expresses the purity of their lines, perfection in simplicity that characterizes the style of Chanel. The pattern consists here of curves and volumes and lends itself to the most varied combinations. Multiplied, it spins its web on the entire surface of the jewel to turn it into a tactile material. Sensual and flexible, they wrap around the neck, wrist or finger. Isolated, the curved square unveils its fine contours paved with diamonds. Only the Riviera blue sapphire and aquamarine create contrast on the luminous whiteness of the diamond or white gold.
The collection Chanel Signature states the creative mind constantly renewed the Chanel Fine Jewellery. d
