The wooden chest
Among the big objects in the area devoted to the local craft, the
“arca” is a large handmade chest, constructed with wood boards
fit together without glues or nails. Usually engraved with
geometrical figures or foliage, the wooden chest was used to
hold wheat, maize and barley, as well as to make bread or to
put the household linen in.
