Religious devotion
Objects of worship have been gathered together in the old
private chapel of the historical palace, decorated with 16th
century frescoes.
These objects show the traditional contrast between the farming
culture and that of the “palazzo” or castle. Among the most
important objects, there is the stick of S. Anne, used during the
pilgrimage to the chapel of the same name on the Autore
Mount, in Vallepietra.
Il pellegrinaggio al Santuario della SS. Trinità
Il pellegrinaggio dei rovianesi al Santuario della SS. Trinità è
compiuto il 26 luglio, il giorno di S. Anna, in onore della quale
fu edificata a fine dell’800 una cappella, proprio nei pressi del
suddetto santuario.
Il percorso si compiva tradizionalmente a piedi. I rovianesi
formavano le compagnie il 24 pomeriggio.
Dopo aver camminato tutta la sera, aver bivaccato la notte sui
monti, e aver ripreso il percorso la mattina seguente, i pellegrini
