Some people believe that illegal immigrants should be deported, as they claim that illegal immigrants don’t pay taxes, which is not true because taxes are paid on everything that you buy. They also claim that the illegal immigrants steal American jobs. Others think that Americans would not take the jobs because the amount of money paid is low.

If illegal immigrants were to be deported, it would be hard for some U.S. companies to survive because those companies would have to pay higher wages to get good American workers. Illegal immigrants accept the low pay and are still dependable and hardworking. Allowing a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants would be better for the U.S. economy than deporting them.
