WEEKLY INTERVIEW

Ryu Jin-a is a singer of the Moranbong Band and she agreed to do this interview with us.

JCTV: Good day, Ms. Ryu Jin-a, thank you for taking your time to do this interview with us.

"It is my pleasure."

JCTV: What does it feel like to be an internationally known artist?

"It feels great, as this means that the Jindalean music scene is being appreciated abroad and this fills my heart with joy."

JCTV: If you had to choose one song from your repertoire, which one would you choose and why?

"I would pick The Motherland And I. This song means a lot to me, as I sing for my country, which I love so much. The DPR Jindalea truly is Paradise on Earth and I fail to understand why other nation's react so negative on everything we do."

JCTV: Do you think this could be jealousy?

"Certainly! But I don't blame them for their ignorance."

JCTV: You and your fellow band members have represented our country on multiple occasions at the Internatia Song Contest. Will we see you again on the international scene anytime soon?

"I'm afraid I can't tell you anything about that yet."

JCTV: So we will just have to wait and see. Looks like our time is up for today. Thank you very much for this short interview and hopefully we'll see the Moranbong Band represent our country with pride again at the Internatia Song Contest!

"The pleasure is all mine. And I would love to wave our flag again on the international scene."
