Letter from the editor

Dear reader ,

Hello and welcome to another edition of Pensador ! Thank you for being here , by picking up a copy you are allowing us to continue to bring the beautiful worlds of Hispanic , Catalan , and Portuguese culture directly to your hands .
First , I would like to thank everyone involved in this magazine , from writers to editors to designers , this magazine would not have been possible without your dedication and hard work . This year ’ s record-breaking selection of 41 articles is a true indicator of how passionate our students are , and how much we can achieve , even during a global crisis . Articles to look out for in this edition include Stella Warren ’ s review of the feminist anthem Yo perreo sola by Bad Bunny , Albert Solà ’ s take on the recent elections in Catalonia amid the COVID-19 pandemic , Adeline Hammond ’ s journey through el Camino de Santiago , and Katie Rocha ’ s wonderful selection of recipes from all over Latin America . I would also like to bring special attention to the front cover , a watercolour drawing designed by Wyn Turner of the city of Girona , where I lived for ten years .
On a personal note , Pensador is very special to me , I have contributed to this amazing magazine in some way during my 4 years at university , and it has been a pleasure watching it grow to what we have accomplished today . I really hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we enjoyed making it . With that , I invite you to immerse yourself in the wonderful world we have created and learn more about the beautiful countries we share a passion for .
