Susan Gross is the director of a 30-bed orthopedic
unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), Al-
lentown. Susan has been in the nursing profession for
28 years, spending all 28 years in orthopedic nursing.
Susan holds a Master in Health Care Administration
from Walden University and a BSN from DeSales
University. She is a member of the National Orga-
nization and local chapter #177 of the Academy of
Medical/Surgical Nurses (AMSN), as well as the As-
sociation for Orthopedic Nurses (NAON).
Sharon Benko is the LVHN patient care coordi-
nator. Sharon has 15 years of orthopedic nursing
experience. Currently pursuing her BSN, she and
is certified in Medical -Surgical Nursing and Niche
Certification. Sharon is a member Academy of
Medical-Surgical Nurses.
Scott Croonquist, DNP, RN is the Vice President
for Patient Care Services at Lehigh Valley Health
Network at the Cedar Crest campus. Scott was a
Magnet Appraiser for the ANCC Magnet Recognition
program for 15 years. Scott has been a nurse for 24
years, and most of his professional career has been
spent in Academic/teaching Medical Centers. He
has strong leadership skills and strong supporter of
shared governance. Scott holds a Doctor of Nursing
