Adrian Marullier (1963-67) was
one of the very first students at LCIS.
He and his family stopped by in the
summer to visit our campus.
LeeAnn Azzara (Class of
2014) graduated from Florida
State University with a degree
in finance and marketing and a
minor in French. She will work
at Charles Schwab in Denver,
Colorado as a Broker Trainee.
She will train for the next two
years while obtaining her
Series 7 and 63 licenses.
D’Andre Wilson-Ihejirika
(1993-1997, orange polo shirt) was
on campus for the Hack-a-Thon.
Wilson works with Bahamas
Engineering and Technology
Advancement
(BETA),
an
organisation
dedicated
to
increasing
awareness
of
the sciences with Bahamian
students. LCIS hosted the event
alongside BETA.

Nikita ShIEl-Rolle (1996-2001) was
recently on campus during the Career
Fair to talk to about her extensive
work with marine conservation in The
Bahamas.
Mandisa Wallé (Class
of 2018, in the red
sweater) was honoured
along with the Hofstra
Tennis Team. The team
had the highest GPA of
all the school’s sports
teams during the Fall
2018 semester.
Natascha VaZquez (Class
of 2012) is currently serving
as Programming Manager
at The Current Art Studio at
Baha Mar. She also writes for
the National Art Gallery of
The Bahamas.
Davina Adderley (Class
of 2014) will begin her
postgraduate studies in the
fall. The former valedictorian
will pursue her PhD in
chemistry from Georgetown
University.
Sean Blyden (Class of
2015) graduated from the
University of Guelph with
a bachelor’s degree in
psychology with honours.
Patrick Colle (Class
of 2015) graduated
from the University
of Guelph with a
bachelor’s degree in
marketing.
Antonia Roberts (1988-2001) came
back to campus this May to “reconnect with
a place that had such a big influence on me.”
Since the former “Lyford Lyfer” completed
her masters in counseling at Nova
Southeastern, she has been developing her
private practice in adolescent counseling
and teaching psychology at BTVI in her
free time.
Shaunda Blyden (Class of
2008) graduated from the
University of the West Indies
with a bachelor’s of medicine
and a bachelor’s of surgery.
She plans to specialise in
anaesthesiology and critical
care.
This year, LCIS welcomed one new honouree
to a very special group of family members
who have a long history with the school. On
Founder’s Day in 2015, LCIS started a new
tradition to connect alumni families with the
school by planting a lignum vitae tree, the
national tree of The Bahamas, and creating
the Alumni Parent garden.
James Bernard, who attended LCIS from 1986-
1994, received a plaque from his son, George,
who joined Preschool this year. The Bernards
are the 17th family to join this special group.
