HOW WAS THE TRANSITION FROM WORKING
IN FUNDRAISING TO DIPLOMACY?
As the Director of Development at the BNT, my role had
so much to do with networking, making connections and
really selling the story of the BNT. It is almost the same
work as the Consul General. Now, it is just on a larger
scale because I’m selling the story of The Bahamas, and
that story matches what the administration of the day
is trying to accomplish, which is currently economic
development. Anywhere I go, any leads that I have, the
story that I’m selling to the rest of the world, or in my
jurisd
