Congratulations to Shaunda Blyden ( Class of 2008 ) on her recent appointment as a resident doctor at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau . She has been working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic .
Channing Thomas ( Class of 2017 ) was featured with the Wake Forest University marching band on the university ’ s Instagram page .
Congratulations to Jana Ward ( Class of 2016 ) who attained her LL . B with First Class Honours from the University of Buckingham , UK . She is preparing for Bar School , starting in September .
D ’ Andre Wilson-Iherjirika ( 1993- 97 ) was featured on the University of Toronto ’ s website for Black History Month .
Chauntez Dillet-Wilson ( 1990- 98 ) also visited the LCIS campus recently in her role as Communications Coordinator for the Organization for Responsible Governance ( ORG ). LCIS hosted the first-ever ORG School Shark Tank , positioning Bahamian youth as active participants in education reform .
Michael Mindorff ( Class of 2016 ) recently completed his bachelor ’ s degree in International Justice at Leiden University in The Hague , The Netherlands . He will study for his law qualification at the University of Aberdeen this fall . He is pictured on the left with brother Ben ( 2009-16 ).
Nicholas Mindorff ( Class of 2013 ) used his GGYA and IB thinking skills as he flew to Québec , Canada to help fight a huge fire as a fire ranger .
