Why YouTube? You're just a Photographer.

Why did I begin a YouTube channel when the main focus of my business is Photography and Writing? I like being able to showcase my talents on various platforms, so I decided to give this an attempt. Couldn't hurt to at least upload a few videos and see where things go from there. Though I don't upload everyday, it still became fun and another way for me to interact with people.

What some people don't know is that this isn't the first time I attempted to have a YouTube channel where I actually posted content

of my own for people to see. I was originally posting some of my poems on my personal channel. I was able to do fairly well, though I was only posting poems I've written. I wouldn't speak. I had music playing and used a photo I'd taken as the visual while the words scrolled from bottom to top.

I now have two poetry videos up on my new channel. In the first, I'm actually reading the poem. It was my first time recording myself reading something I've written to post for the whole world to see, so

I was extremely nervous. Despite that, I pushed through and got it done. I'm proud of myself for coming out of my comfort zone even for just one video. Since the old way I used to post my poems did well, I'll alternate between spoken word and allowing the words to appear on screen. Don't want viewers to get bored and expect the same things every time.

I'm still learning as I go, but getting more knowledgeable and comfortable;e with each video. Go subscribe so you don't miss out!
