We all knew it wasn’t going to be long before the fight back for the top spot was
coming and boy did it come at Far Coley. Jack Harris cleared the course as if was a
walk in the park, amazing shooting in those conditions. James scored a fantastic 48,
normally that would have been enough but not today. 3rd place was secured with a
cracking 47 by Dan Eley.

C

Sam is trying his best to unsettle Dave with a 42 but Dave was only 1 point behind
him with 41. Keith clocked in a brilliant 40 but will it be enough? The competition in A
Grade is so ferocious there’s not much splitting the top 10.

Piston

You’ve got to give it to young Josh, he’s giving us all a run for our money, his brilliant
42 just widened the gap at the top but can Chubby catch him? David put in an
excellent 39 with MFTA youngster Andy Watkins taking 3rd place after a shoot off
with John Martin. Such a cruel way to lose a position after all that work but Andy has
been on brilliant form of late.

How do you score 38 with a boinger on a course like that? Steve’s the man to
answer that question, amazing! Far Coley top man Neil was only 3 behind with 35
and PoP favourite John was third with 35.

This one is going to the wire but Anston Massive member Paul Gallagher put in a
score that would have seen him second in B Grade, well done on your PB of 39 Paul.
David is back on form as well with a 38 and George bust Phil’s coupon with a 37.
Mega shooting from C grades, I tip may hat to you all.

Ian is opening up a bit of a lead with score of 43 but Jeremy and Tony both put in a
39 so it’s not over yet and it’s great to see a battle going on in Open.
