watching the rain. Phil
missed the first 6 but I

hoping he’d pick up and
he did, bless him. Lane
one was unreal, don’t think
I’ve ever shot targets at
that steep an angle before,
missed them both but Phil
nailed them. I was pleased
for him, we’d come a
long way to get wet. We
finished 18 vs 19 to me but
that was a tough one.
I picked up 3rd in B Grade
and headed home slightly
moist. Just before the
M50 junction my fan belt
snapped and the car shut
down in the middle of the
roundabout. Bollocks!
Quick call to the AA and
we’d be fine. “Don’t carry
that fan belt sir” so a tow
to the services and then
a lorry home at a steady
57mph.
Should have been home
at 7.30pm but got home
The rain was lashing it
at 10.00pm. It made for a

wondered how many

those garden tent gazebos, that won’t happen to
then it’s 17.
me then I have a word
of caution. A young girl
came up to the AA man
and told him her new car
was drinking 4ltrs of oil
every 10 miles and all the
lights where on. How much
would it cost to join and
get home? He did some
calculations and told her
£900.
Big thanks to everyone at
BW, Howard for the free
snap and everyone for
making us feel welcome.
See you next year
everyone.
