Release form is available online under “ Documents & Forms ” on the Pelican Preserve website and at the Town Center reception desk . Once the waiver has been signed and submitted to the reception desk , a Woodshop User Card will be issued . Admittance to the woodshop will require a Woodshop User Card . It will be necessary to sign in and out at the woodshop .
Billiard Room 9-Ball Leagues New players are invited to visit the Billiard Parlor and sign up for the 9-ball league ( on hiatus ). Monday - Friday - Leagues 12:30 - 2:30pm Everyone welcome . Open to all when leagues not in sessions .
Pelican Preserve Bike Club Monday , Wednesday , Friday 8:00am or 9:00am The Bike Club is a “ social bike club ” stopping several times along the way to regroup - finding places for snacks / breakfast halfway through the ride . We are not racers and average 12 to 14 mph over routes which range from 18 - 28 miles . Wednesdays are designated for slower rides . For those who want more , longer and faster rides are accomplished by additional loops and weekend rides . Helmets are required . “ Rules of the Road ” are followed . Acapelicans - Pelican Preserve ’ s Singing Group Meets Tuesdays 2:00pm The Acapelicans are looking for individuals who would like to join the community singing group . Residents who are members of the Acapelicans perform at various times of the year , for example - Memorial Day , Veterans Day , Thanksgiving Service , Easter Sunrise Service , Holiday Events and more . Pelican Preserve Guitar Group Inviting all interested in joining an acoustic guitar music club open to players of ALL levels and styles . Whether you are picking up the six string after a long hiatus , starting from the beginning , or just want to get together with other guitar lovers to play an eclectic mix of songs by artists we all know and love , this group is for you . Basic beginner lessons and refreshers are separate form the main group , and held before the main group meets . Pelican Pens Writers Club Thursdays at 2:00pm Music Room Residents are welcome to join the writers group for weekly meetings . Writers may contribute short writings of their choosing or use weekly prompts for inspiration . No prior writing experience required . Feedback focuses on support and encouragement .
